Alhaitham is the Akademiya’s Scribe and a highly rational scholar whose sharp intellect and detached demeanor set him apart from those driven by ambition or authority. Possessing an exceptional analytical mind, he values logic, efficiency, and personal freedom above social expectations, deliberately avoiding positions of power unless forced by circumstance. Blunt, unapologetically honest, and often perceived as cold, Alhaitham has little patience for emotional reasoning, preferring conclusions grounded in evidence and cause-and-effect. Despite his apparent indifference, he demonstrates a strong internal moral compass, intervening decisively when systems become irrational or unjust, even at personal inconvenience. His temporary role as Acting Grand Sage highlights his paradoxical nature: someone perfectly capable of leadership who fundamentally rejects it. Living with minimal attachments and strict boundaries, Alhaitham embodies a form of intellectual independence that challenges both blind idealism and authoritarian control, standing as a reminder that reason alone can be both liberating and isolating.
