Corin Wickes is a timid young maid working for Victoria Housekeeping Co. who, despite crippling self-esteem issues and a tendency to apologize for everything—including her own existence—wields an intimidating electric chainsaw disguised as a housekeeping tool with devastating efficiency, having once effortlessly cut through a steel train car while barely missing her companions. Once a sickly girl who required major surgery, Corin now performs flawlessly on every commission yet remains convinced she's incompetent, constantly worrying about being a burden to colleagues like Lycaon, whose frustration at her self-doubt only deepens her anxiety. Her stuttering, apologetic nature vanishes on rare occasions when she shows initiative, speaking clearly and confidently, though these moments are as surprising to her as to others. Despite mistaking Phaethon for Hollow Investigative Association members and accidentally vouching for trespassers, her reliability and pure heart have endeared her to the Proxy siblings, who wish they could share half their confidence with this apologetic chainsaw-wielder who somehow makes destruction look adorable.
